Reaching the Prisons

Our teams reach out to those in the Abingdon Regional Jail twice monthly. We currently have both a men and ladies division.

  • Salvation-Centered – Sharing the Gospel of Christ

  • Giving Hope – Sharing the Love of Christ

  • Reaching Out – Helping those who need it most

Our men’s team schedule is the first Tuesday and third Thursday of each month, and our lady’s team meet the second and fourth Monday of each month. Our teams desire to have God’s presence in helping men and women in prison come to know Christ as Saviour.

“¹²For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. ¹³For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

…I feel comfortable in the flow of the study and the ladies spoke so kindly and really from the heart. I want them to know it was exactly what God needed me to hear and that night I put my stress and outside worry on God.
