Creating a Safe, Worshipful Environment
It has been some time since our own church family has seen one another, but we are excited that we will once again be able to meet and worship together as a family. We would love for you to be a part of our reunion as well.
That being said, there are also a few changes that have been made concerning our assembling. We are following the guidelines set in place by Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia. We will follow strict social distancing within our church buildings, have detailed cleaning and sanitizing between services, and recommend face coverings as the Governor has requested (excluding Pastor while preaching, and musicians while singing or playing).
Pews will be cleaned and visibly marked to create separation between attendees. Families will be designated a pew or sufficient space as long as the 6-foot distance guideline has been met. We will also not have organized nurseries available, toys will be put away, and we will not have Sunday school to prevent unwanted exposure and contact by children or adults. The hymn lyrics will be projected on the screen to prevent the need of handling hymnals.
We will meet for the following service times: Sunday Morning Worship at 11:00 am, Sunday Evening Worship at 6:00 pm and Wednesday Evening Worship at 7:00 pm. All social distancing and precautions will be taken at each service time until further notice.
Upon entry to our Main Sanctuary, you will find the following statement posted:
